About The Venue

Tucked away in the heart of the Florida Keys, Largo Resort is a secluded waterfront oasis that offers the perfect mix of natural beauty and modern comfort. With its lush tropical landscaping, private beach, and peaceful atmosphere, it feels like your own private island - yet it’s conveniently located in Key Largo.

We chose this space because it reflects everything we love: quiet moments by the water, sunsets under the palms, and time spent with the people who matter most. The resort is reserved exclusively for our guests for the weekend, so you'll have the freedom to relax, explore, and celebrate alongside us. From kayaking and paddle-boarding to lounging by the pool or simply soaking in the view, Largo Resort is all about laid-back luxury and we can’t wait to share it with you.

The Dress code

Tropical Semi-Formal

Feel free to dress up while staying comfortable in the Florida sunshine. Semi-formal attire is perfect for the setting — refined and celebratory, but relaxed enough to suit the warm weather and outdoor setting.

LADIES

A midi or maxi dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or a coordinated skirt set are all great choices. A nicer sundress is perfectly appropriate too - something with a slightly dressier feel is perfect. Sandals are totally welcome (and probably your best bet for sandy spots).

gentlemen

Lightweight dress pants, chinos, or golf-style pants are great options. Pair with a button-down shirt, and if you'd like, a lightweight suit jacket. Ties are optional. Loafers, dress shoes, or even flip-flops (yes, really!) are all fair game given the laid-back location.

a few tips

• The ceremony will likely take place outdoors, possibly on sand, so we recommend choosing shoes that are easy to walk in and won’t sink.

• Lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, or performance material will help keep you comfortable in the Florida heat.

• There’s no need to go over-the-top, think dressed up, but relaxed enough to enjoy the sunshine.

What to bring

We’re keeping things relaxed, but here are a few essentials to help you make the most of the weekend. Bring your wedding day attire, we recommend tropical semi-formal outfits that are comfortable for an outdoor ceremony and evening celebration. You’ll also want something casual and festive for our welcome dinner on Friday night.

Be sure to pack your bathing suit, sunglasses, sunscreen, and anything else you’d like for enjoying the pool, paddleboards, and sun. If you plan to bring snacks or drinks, your room includes a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig to keep things convenient.

Boats and trailers are welcome at the resort. While there isn’t a boat ramp directly on the property, there are several public ramps nearby for easy access. Feel free to bring fishing gear, snorkel equipment, or any other gear you’ll want for exploring The Keys.

Other helpful items might include water shoes, a sunhat, a reusable water bottle, and a light sweater for breezy evenings.
